What a difference a shed makes!

Wow…the little Raining Redstripe that had our attention the day he hatched finally shed last night and…well…check him out :)

Our 3rd hatchling caught my attention…

This little guy hatched yesterday…the first from our Raining Redstripe project.  I wasn’t expecting this much color on a 1 day old Rainwater!   Hopefully this will kickoff a great year for our Rainwaters…that’s one project we’ve been working to improve for a few years now.

On another front, we’re almost done with our website makeover!  It’s actually turned into a fun project for me and I’m really pleased with how it’s turning out.  I love how much control I have over the entire site…maybe I’ll actually make updates a bit more regularly…lol

Coming along…

The new website is coming along nicely. As it turns out the new design was an accident of sorts. We were just doing some routine maintenance on the site and it completely “crashed” on us! I wasn’t “html-savvy” enough to fix it, so I had to go with a complete rebuild. The good news is that I REALLY like how the site’s turning out and it’s going to be easier for me to keep it up to date :)

Now, a bit more exciting news…we hatched our first clutch last week. Here’s the first offspring of the 2010 season!

These two little guys…at least they should turn out to be guys…came from our Emerine pair. This is our first season working with the Emerine trait so we’re excited to see how they progress.

Eggs are coming a bit more frequently now.  Maybe about 2 – 3 clutches every few days.  It’ll pick up quickly though!  Last I checked about 30 of our females are starting to ovulate…

Busy day…

Had a good day taking pictures of the upcoming breeders for 2010. Probably took 300 pictures and I’ll end up with about 30 that I’ll actually use!  Also got to do some more painting in the gecko room and put up some new shelves. We’re about 80% done with our gecko room remodel. It’s been crazy but it’s so nice to see the improvements!
